Fawley Neighbourhood Plan
New Forest District Council and New Forest National Park Authority are formally and jointly consulting on the draft Fawley Neighbourhood Plan, which has been submitted to both authorities (as the designated Neighbourhood Area includes land within both administrative areas)
In accordance with Regulation 16 of the Neighbourhood Planning Regulations this is a final consultation opportunity to comment on the Neighbourhood Plan period before both the Neighbourhood Plan and the representations made are considered by an independent examiner.
The consultation commences on Friday 3 April 2026 and responses must be received no later than Sunday 7 June 2026.

An addendum to the Basic Conditions Statement was submitted on 17 April 2026 to demonstrate that the Neighbourhood Plan meets the new Basic Conditions introduced on 25 March 2026, which neighbourhood plans are now required to satisfy. For this reason the length of the consultation has been extended to Sunday 7 June 2026.
