Thankyou for your submitting a site, these submissions have been processed and considered as part of a housing and economic land availability assessment. Further Call for Sites – Land for future development, open space and nature recovery

We re-opened a Call for Sites for consideration as part of the full review of the adopted Local Plan.

Please do not resubmit any site(s) you previously submitted during the 2024 Call for Sites.

Submissions opened on Monday 17 February 2025, and the closing date was Friday 4 April 2025.

This further ‘Call for Sites’ relates to land which is within the Plan Area (New Forest District outside the National Park). The extent of the Plan Area is shown in purple in the map below.

This is an opportunity for landowners, site promoters, development interests and communities to suggest possible sites that may be suitable for development or that could be used in a more productive way or for a more beneficial use.

The Call for Sites is open to both previously developed land and potential ‘greenfield’ sites. We are interested to hear about potential opportunities for housing, employment and community uses, open space and land suitable for nature recovery or biodiversity, carbon, nitrogen or phosphate offsetting.
