Garden Close Improvement

The garages at Garden Close are old, in poor condition, and in need of significant investment. Following a review, a decision has been made to demolish these garages.

After considering a number of options, we've decided that the best option is to 're-purpose' this area and create some much needed parking for the residents of Garden Close, whilst also carrying our some simple improvements.

We'd like your thoughts on our proposals, summarised as follows:

• The creation of 11 new parking spaces (including 1 accessible space) in place of the 10 garages.
• New external steps giving easy access from parking to the rear of the housing block.
• New brickwork wall built along and above existing retaining wall.
• Improved lighting and hand rails for safety and security.
• Removal of excess vegetation at the rear of the housing block.
