The Issues and Scope consultation opened on Monday 17 February 2024, and the closing date was Friday 4 April 2025.

The ‘Issues and Scope Consultation’ is the first stage in reviewing the Local Plan, an important document that sets out detailed planning policies and proposals for New Forest District (outside the National Park).

We need your views on:

• the scope of what the review should cover
• individual topics and the key issues the Local Plan will need to address

The survey asks questions on a wide range of issues identified in the document, and we also ask you to let us know any other issues that you feel we have missed and should be addressed.
